Compilation: "Songs For Sex"

Erin is proud to join fellow artists Tift Merrit, Jason Isbell, Thao, Cake, Andrew Bird, My Brightest Diamond, and more on a new compilation “Noise For Now: Songs For Sex”. Erin contributed a live version of their song “Today / Sex”. Proceeds from the compilation benefit the National Women’s Health Network.

Erin adds:

Intimacy is fun, funny, playful, poignant, romantic, human, and always a rich subject for songs. I wanted to capture all that in “Today/Sex”. But most importantly I wanted to capture the fact that no matter what kind of intimacy you are having, no matter who you are having intimacy with, it’s always your choice. Agendas like Project 2025 disrespect this fundamental, individual right. Agendas like Project 2025 steal your pleasure and the dignity of making your own intimate choices. Your body is yours, no matter whether the song makes you laugh or not.
